Welcome

Hello my name is Luke Wilson, I am 21 and from the Isle of Wight. I am currently in my final year studying BSc (Hons) Bioveterinary Science at the University of the West of England. I applied to study Veterinary Medicine as a second degree. On the 20th December 2012 I received an offer of admission to the University of Edinburgh to study BVM&S Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, commencing September 2013.
Recently government funding for university degrees have been abolished, therefore to study BVM&S as a second degree I am liable to pay £27,900 per annum tuition fees. I am therefore creating this website to educate the public about how government funding cuts have an effect on the future of British Veterinarians. Universities rely on second degree graduates to pay a higher tuition fee to help cover the costs of the course and partially subsidise first degree students (university dependant). A copy of my offer of admission letter can be requested.
I am using a donation facility of PayPal  to help fund my tuition fees over my 5 years. I understand this is a lot to ask of the general public and any amount would be gratefully received.
