The government has announced that it will no longer provide funding for students who are wishing to study a higher education qualification that is equivalent to or at a lower level than the one already gained. Therefore the university will charge a higher rate of tuition to students. This has an effect on students who wish to study a degree such as Veterinary Medicine, who used an undergraduate degree to help them qualify for admission. These students are having to fund a large sum of money to support their studies, in my case £27,900.
